About the role
We are recruiting for an established Epicor partner in Glasgow who need a Pre-Sales / Solution Architect to join their growing consulting team. You'll work with prospective clients to understand their business requirements, scope Epicor solutions across manufacturing and distribution environments, and design proposals that demonstrate how Epicor Kinetic can solve their operational challenges. This is a client-facing role where you'll lead discovery workshops, prepare detailed scoping documents, deliver product demonstrations and partner with the sales team to win new business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead pre-sales discovery workshops with prospective clients, gathering business requirements and identifying pain points across manufacturing, finance, supply chain and distribution processes
- Design and scope Epicor Kinetic solutions tailored to client needs, documenting functional fit, module requirements, integrations and implementation approach
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations that showcase Epicor capabilities and articulate the business value of proposed solutions
- Prepare detailed proposals, statements of work and commercial estimates, working closely with the sales and delivery teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility
- Act as the trusted technical advisor during the sales cycle, answering client questions, addressing concerns and building confidence in the proposed solution
- Support handover to the implementation team post-sale, ensuring requirements and solution design are clearly communicated
What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with Epicor Kinetic (or Epicor ERP / E10) in a consulting, implementation or pre-sales capacity, ideally within a partner or solution provider environment
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and distribution business processes including production planning, inventory management, procurement, finance and shop floor control
- Proven ability to gather requirements, scope solutions and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling way
- Confident presenting and demonstrating software to senior business audiences, with the ability to tailor messaging to different industries and use cases
- Experience with solution design, proposal writing or commercial scoping would be an advantage but is not essential
- A consultative, client-focused approach with the ability to build rapport quickly and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the sales process
