Functional Consultant

The engine room. Module configuration across financials, sales, purchasing, inventory and production, plus the workshops, UAT and training wrapped around it. HANA migration experience moves you from the middle of this band to the top of it faster than another two years' service will.

UK £50k£66k · US $94k$127k

Technical Consultant / SDK Developer

Add-ons through the B1 SDK and Service Layer, Crystal Reports, HANA queries, and integration out to e-commerce, WMS and EDI. Runs about 10% ahead of functional pay at every level.

UK £55k£72k · US $105k$132k

Implementation / Project Manager

Plan, budget, client relationship, go-live. Partners pay noticeably more for someone who has run full-cycle B1 projects than for a strong IT programme manager who hasn't, and the two are not interchangeable however the CV reads.

UK £61k£77k · US $105k$132k

Support Consultant

First to third line, on a partner's managed services desk or inside an end user's own team. The usual way into the ecosystem. Good support people cross to implementation within two or three years, and we push most of them to.

UK £39k£51k · US $66k$88k

Pre-Sales / Sales Engineer

Demos, discovery, scoping deals. Half commercial and half technical, which is exactly why partners struggle to hire them. The base below looks high on its own; commission or bonus usually adds another 15 to 30% on top.

UK £61k£77k · US $110k$143k

Practice Lead / Head of ERP

A partner practice, or an in-house capability, carrying the P&L. Bands here are base salary only. At most partners the bonus and equity sitting on top vary far more than the base does, so compare offers carefully.

UK £110k£165k · US $176k$220k

Functional Consultant

Financials, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory — plus the discovery, UAT, training and handholding around them. What separates the top of this band from the middle is OneWorld and multi-book. Configure single-subsidiary only and you get paid as though that is all you can do.

UK £61k£83k · US $110k$149k

SuiteScript Developer

Custom scripts, workflows, SuiteApps — SuiteScript 2.x with the SuiteCloud Development Framework underneath. Best-paid individual contributor job in the ecosystem, and the brief we are asked for most often without being able to fill it.

UK £66k£94k · US $121k$165k

Solution / Integration Architect

Designs the whole estate and the plumbing around it: Celigo, Boomi, Workato, Avalara, plus whatever bespoke thing the last team left behind. Usually the technical authority on a partner programme, which makes the job half design and half telling clients no.

UK £99k£127k · US $176k$215k

NetSuite Administrator

Owns the platform from inside the business. Saved searches, custom records, provisioning, release management. This is the role whose pay has moved most in the last two years, and administrators have worked out why before most employers did.

UK £50k£66k · US $94k$121k

Implementation / Project Manager

Full-cycle implementations, Alliance Partner side or client side. The market does not pay for programme management in the abstract. It pays for the number of NetSuite go-lives you can name and describe.

UK £61k£79k · US $110k$143k

Practice Lead / Head of NetSuite

A partner practice or an in-house NetSuite function, with the P&L attached. Bands below are base only — at partner level the bonus structure is where a lot of the real money sits.

UK £132k£198k · US $220k$308k
