ERP Recruitment in the United Kingdom
ERP Recruitment UK
Our home market. We have placed ERP professionals with partners and end users across the UK for over a decade, from single hires to whole practice builds.
The market
Recruiting ERP talent across the UK
The UK is where Henley Morgan started and it remains the core of what we do. We work across the full breadth of the UK ERP market: the SAP partner channel, the fast growing NetSuite and Business Central ecosystems, and the manufacturers, distributors and professional services firms running these systems in house.
Most UK ERP hiring runs through partners and resellers, which shapes everything about how candidates move. Consultants build careers across multiple client projects rather than one system, and the strongest people are rarely on job boards. That is why our network matters more than any advert: we know who is quietly open to a move and who has just finished a implementation and is ready for the next challenge.
We cover the whole country, with concentrations around London and the South East, the Midlands manufacturing belt, the North West and Yorkshire. Hybrid working is now the norm for most UK ERP roles, typically one to three days on site, which has widened the practical hiring radius for almost every client we work with.

What to know
How hiring works in the UK
Partner led market
The majority of UK ERP roles sit with partners and resellers rather than end users, so project variety and client facing skill matter as much as deep product knowledge.
Hybrid as standard
One to three days on site is the norm. Fully remote roles exist but are the exception, and fully office based roles now struggle to attract strong candidates.
Contract and IR35
Contract demand runs alongside permanent hiring, particularly for implementations and upgrades. We handle inside and outside IR35 assignments and can advise on determination.
Certification premium
Platform certifications carry real weight in the UK channel, and candidates with HANA, SuiteCloud or equivalent credentials consistently command more.

Hiring in the UK: what we tell our clients
Notice periods
One to three months is standard, and senior consultants are often on three. Build that into your plan, because the strongest candidates rarely start quickly.
Counter offers
In a candidate short market, counter offers are common. We prepare candidates for them early rather than being surprised at resignation.
Salary transparency
UK candidates increasingly expect a stated range. Adverts without one attract noticeably fewer strong applications.
Common questions
UK FAQs
Do you recruit across the whole of the UK?
Yes. We place ERP professionals throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, with the heaviest concentrations around London and the South East, the Midlands, the North West and Yorkshire.
Do you handle contract as well as permanent roles?
Both. We run permanent searches and contract assignments, from short project support through to multi month implementation programmes, and can advise on IR35 status determination.
How quickly can you provide a shortlist?
For most UK ERP roles we come back with a qualified shortlist within a week, because we are working from an existing specialist network rather than starting a search from scratch.
