We are recruiting for a well-established Acumatica partner in Birmingham who needs a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to lead technical discovery, shape proposals and deliver compelling demonstrations that win new business. You'll work closely with the sales and delivery teams, translating prospect requirements into credible solutions across financials, distribution, manufacturing and project accounting, and guiding clients through the evaluation process from initial conversation through to contract signature.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with prospective clients, identifying pain points, process gaps and opportunities where Acumatica can deliver measurable value
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions that showcase relevant modules including General Ledger, Order Management, Inventory, Manufacturing and CRM
- Prepare statements of work, solution designs and effort estimates in collaboration with delivery leads, ensuring proposals are technically sound and commercially viable
- Act as the technical voice during sales cycles, responding to RFP questions, addressing prospect concerns and positioning Acumatica capabilities against competitor platforms
- Support handover to implementation teams once deals are won, ensuring smooth transition and alignment between what was sold and what will be delivered
- Maintain current knowledge of Acumatica releases, industry trends and competitor positioning to keep demonstrations and messaging relevant
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a pre-sales, solution architect or senior consulting role within the ERP space, ideally with exposure to Acumatica, NetSuite, Dynamics 365 Business Central or comparable cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of core business processes across finance, supply chain, manufacturing or project management, and the ability to map these to system functionality during client conversations
- Confident presenting and facilitating workshops with stakeholders at all levels, from finance managers to C-suite executives, with a consultative style that builds trust and credibility
- Acumatica certification or hands-on platform experience would be a strong advantage, or demonstrable ability to learn new ERP platforms quickly and present them effectively
- Someone who combines technical depth with commercial awareness, able to balance the ideal solution with what is practical, profitable and achievable within project constraints
