About the role
We are recruiting for an established Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner in the Atlanta area who need a Functional Consultant to join their growing Business Central practice. You will deliver implementations and enhancement projects for clients across manufacturing, distribution and professional services, working through requirements gathering, configuration, testing and user training to help organisations get the most from their investment in the platform. Your focus will be on core modules including financials, supply chain, inventory and sales order processing, with the opportunity to develop expertise in industry-specific extensions and integrations as the practice expands.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Business Central implementation projects from requirements analysis through to go-live, configuring modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Sales and Warehouse Management to meet client needs
- Facilitate workshops with client stakeholders to document current processes, identify pain points and design future-state workflows that align with Business Central capabilities and industry best practice
- Configure and test the system including chart of accounts setup, dimension structures, posting groups, approval workflows, reporting layouts and integration points with third-party applications or legacy systems
- Deliver end-user training sessions and produce documentation to ensure clients can operate the system confidently and independently once the project team steps back
- Provide post-go-live support during stabilisation periods, troubleshooting issues, refining configurations and advising clients on how to expand their use of the platform over time
- Collaborate with technical consultants and developers on customisations, data migration scripts and Power Platform extensions, ensuring functional requirements are clearly communicated and delivered as specified
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience configuring and implementing Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV, with a solid understanding of core financial and operational processes and how they map to the platform
- The ability to lead client-facing workshops and training sessions with confidence, translating technical concepts into language that resonates with finance managers, operations directors and end users
- A methodical, detail-oriented approach to configuration and testing, and someone who takes ownership of delivering quality outcomes even when timelines are tight
- Familiarity with modules such as fixed assets, job costing, assembly management or manufacturing would be an advantage but is not essential, particularly if you have the curiosity and aptitude to pick these up quickly
- Microsoft certifications in Business Central Functional Consultant or related credentials are a plus rather than essential, and the practice actively supports consultants working towards these qualifications
