About the role
We're working with an established Sage Intacct partner based in Southampton who are expanding their pre-sales function to support a strong pipeline of cloud finance opportunities across the South Coast and wider UK. As a Sage Intacct Pre-Sales / Solution Architect, you'll work closely with the sales team to scope client requirements, design tailored solutions and deliver compelling demonstrations that showcase how Sage Intacct can transform financial processes for mid-market organisations across multiple sectors.
This is an opportunity to shape deals from the discovery phase through to handover, influencing solution design while building trusted relationships with prospective clients and internal delivery teams. If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact, apply today.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver product demonstrations and solution workshops for prospective clients, tailoring presentations to address specific business challenges and requirements
- Collaborate with the sales team to qualify opportunities, scope project complexity and prepare proposals that accurately reflect client needs and technical feasibility
- Design and document Sage Intacct solutions covering core financials, multi-entity consolidation, revenue recognition, project accounting and third-party integrations
- Act as the technical bridge between sales and delivery, ensuring smooth handover of requirements and solution design to the implementation team
- Support proof-of-concept activities and respond to RFP/RFI requests with detailed technical and functional content
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Sage Intacct product releases, industry trends and competitor positioning
What We're Looking For
- Commercial experience in a pre-sales, solution architect or senior consultant role working with Sage Intacct, or a comparable cloud finance platform such as NetSuite, Dynamics 365 Business Central or Acumatica
- Strong understanding of core Sage Intacct modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and multi-entity consolidation (experience with project accounting, revenue recognition or advanced reporting would be an advantage but is not essential)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior finance stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business value
- A consultative, client-focused approach: someone who listens carefully, asks the right questions and designs solutions that balance ambition with pragmatism
- Sage Intacct certifications would be a plus rather than essential
What's On Offer
- £55,000 – £75,000 depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits
- Hybrid working with flexibility to balance home and office-based work in Southampton
- Structured support towards Sage Intacct certifications and ongoing professional development
- Opportunity to work on a diverse range of pre-sales engagements with clients across finance, professional services, technology and not-for-profit sectors
- A collaborative environment with clear progression into senior pre-sales or consultancy leadership roles
