About the role
We're working with an established Acumatica partner in Leeds who needs a Technical Consultant / Developer to join their growing delivery team. You'll be building customisations, integrations and technical extensions that bring Acumatica Cloud ERP to life for clients across manufacturing, distribution and professional services, working on projects from technical specification through to go-live and support.
This is a role that suits someone who enjoys writing clean code, solving technical challenges and working closely with functional colleagues to translate business needs into working solutions. You'll gain exposure to the full Acumatica platform, contribute to client implementations and help shape technical standards as the practice continues to grow. If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact, apply today.
Key Responsibilities
- Build customisations and workflow extensions within Acumatica using C#, SQL and the Acumatica Framework, ensuring code quality and maintainability across client projects
- Develop integrations between Acumatica and third-party systems including CRM platforms, eCommerce solutions, warehouse management and payment gateways using REST and SOAP APIs
- Support data migration activities during implementations, writing scripts to prepare and validate data quality as clients transition onto Acumatica
- Deliver technical elements of projects alongside functional consultants, translating requirements into specifications and building solutions that meet business needs
- Troubleshoot technical issues escalated from support or managed-service teams, providing clear analysis and reliable fixes
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation and knowledge sharing as the team scales and standards mature
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience developing with C# and SQL, ideally within an ERP or business application environment where you've built features that support operational processes
- Exposure to Acumatica development would be a strong advantage, or demonstrable experience with a comparable cloud ERP platform such as NetSuite, Business Central or Sage Intacct
- Familiarity with REST APIs, web services and integration patterns, plus the ability to work confidently with tools such as Visual Studio and source control
- Understanding of core ERP processes across financials, inventory or order management, or the ability to pick this up quickly as you work alongside functional specialists
- A methodical approach to development: someone who writes maintainable code, documents their work thoroughly and tests before deployment
- Candidates who combine technical skill with clear communication and a collaborative mindset will stand out, particularly those comfortable translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
What's On Offer
- A competitive salary of £45,000 – £65,000 depending on experience, plus performance-related bonus and benefits
- Hybrid working with flexibility to work from home and the Leeds office, supporting a healthy work-life balance
- Structured support towards Acumatica certifications including Developer (D100, D200) and Implementation Specialist qualifications, with study time and exam costs covered
- A clear path to develop into senior technical or solution architect roles as the Acumatica practice continues to expand
- Exposure to diverse client projects across multiple sectors, giving you the opportunity to broaden your technical skillset and deepen your platform expertise
