Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid Working)
Salary: $110,000 – $145,000 (depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits)
Job Type: Permanent
About the role
We are recruiting for a growing Microsoft Dynamics partner based in Denver who are expanding their pre-sales capability to support an active pipeline of Business Central opportunities across the Rocky Mountain region. As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect, you will take ownership of the discovery and design phase for prospective clients, running requirements workshops, architecting solutions that span financials, supply chain and industry-specific extensions, and partnering with the sales team to produce compelling proposals that win work and set clear expectations for delivery. You will engage with clients in manufacturing, distribution, wholesale and field services, many of whom are transitioning from legacy ERP systems or scaling beyond entry-level accounting platforms.
This is a role that rewards curiosity, commercial awareness and the ability to translate business pain into a coherent technical narrative. The partner has invested in a structured pre-sales process with strong handover disciplines between commercial and delivery teams, and you will have access to a technical practice lead and a library of accelerators, templates and ISV relationships. If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact, apply today.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate discovery workshops with prospective clients to understand current-state processes, system limitations, reporting gaps and transformation objectives across finance, operations and inventory management
- Design Business Central solutions that combine core modules such as general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, inventory, purchasing, sales order processing and warehouse management with ISV extensions and Power Platform components to meet stated business needs
- Deliver tailored demonstrations that map platform capabilities to the client's industry context, pain points and desired outcomes, positioning Business Central against competitor platforms where appropriate
- Produce scoped proposals, statements of work and effort estimates in collaboration with sales leadership and delivery managers, ensuring technical assumptions are documented and risk factors are surfaced early
- Act as the technical advisor during commercial negotiations, supporting discussions on scope, phasing, licensing and hosting decisions, and providing a structured handover to the project team with clear design artefacts
- Maintain awareness of Business Central release waves, Copilot enhancements, marketplace apps and integration patterns, and contribute to the development of industry-specific accelerators and demonstration environments
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in a pre-sales, solution architect or senior functional consulting role focused on Dynamics 365 Business Central, with a track record of supporting successful sales cycles and shaping winning proposals
- Deep understanding of Business Central modules including financials, supply chain, manufacturing, project accounting and service management, and the ability to articulate how configuration, extensions and integrations address real business challenges
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to ask the right questions, manage diverse opinions and build credibility with C-level and operational audiences alike
- Confidence working in a commercial environment where your technical input directly influences win rates, deal size and project margin, and where you balance aspiration with deliverability
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate or Power Apps in the context of extending Business Central would be an advantage but is not essential
- Microsoft certifications such as MB-800 (Business Central Functional Consultant) would strengthen your application, though hands-on solution design experience and commercial awareness matter more
What's On Offer
- A competitive salary between $110,000 and $145,000 depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package
- Hybrid working with flexibility to work from home and the Denver office, with travel to client sites across Colorado and neighbouring states as opportunities require
- Structured support towards Microsoft certifications and access to release wave training, partner enablement resources and industry events
- A clear path to progress into practice leadership or specialist architect roles as the Business Central practice continues to scale
- The opportunity to shape solutions from the earliest conversation through to delivery handover, working with a collaborative team that values both commercial outcomes and technical integrity
