About the role
We are recruiting for a well-established business seeking an ERP Systems Developer to join their team. You'll work with SAP Business One and connected applications, developing, supporting and improving business-critical systems that underpin finance, sales, manufacturing and supply chain operations. This is a hands-on role where you'll translate business requirements into practical technical solutions, support integrations and databases, and partner with colleagues across the business to deliver enhancements that make a real difference.
With at least 3 years' commercial ERP experience, you'll bring strong business awareness and the ability to understand operational needs before proposing solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, support and enhance the ERP system and related business applications, integrations and databases to improve operational efficiency and data quality
- Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions, working closely with colleagues across finance, sales, manufacturing and supply chain
- Investigate and resolve ERP system issues, taking time to understand the full problem before proposing solutions
- Manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail, ensuring solutions are delivered to deadlines
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical business colleagues and maintain documentation to support continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years' commercial experience working with ERP systems
- Experience developing, supporting or improving business applications, integrations and databases
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
- An inquisitive, rational problem solver who takes time to understand the full problem before proposing solutions, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- SAP Business One SDK, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft .NET and C#, or Microsoft VBA would be an advantage but are not essential
- Manufacturing environment experience would be beneficial, as would the ability to estimate development time accurately and work to deadlines
