About the role
We are recruiting for a well-established manufacturer seeking an ERP Systems Developer to join their Transformation Team. You'll work closely with the ERP Systems Manager to develop, support and enhance business-critical systems built around their SAP Business One ERP platform. This is a hands-on role where you'll assist in developing software enhancements and integrations, support ERP-related applications and databases, and partner with colleagues across finance, sales, manufacturing and supply chain to deliver practical technical solutions.
You'll be joining a small, collaborative team working on projects that have genuinely transformed operations. With an SAP Business One upgrade on the horizon, a WMS replacement project in the pipeline, and the opportunity to take ownership of solutions from design through to deployment, this is a great opportunity for a developer with ERP or manufacturing experience who wants to see the real-world impact of their work. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test and deploy software enhancements and integrations for SAP Business One and associated systems based on design specifications
- Support and maintain ERP-related applications and databases to ensure business-critical systems remain robust and operational
- Investigate and resolve user support queries, providing technical support to users and escalating complex issues when necessary
- Partner with colleagues across finance, sales, manufacturing and supply chain to understand operational needs and deliver practical technical solutions
- Follow established development standards and maintain clear documentation to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
What We're Looking For
- Practical exposure to C#, Microsoft .NET and Microsoft SQL with the ability to work across the full development lifecycle
- Experience with SAP Business One or the SAP SDK would be an advantage but is not essential, as would a background or interest in manufacturing environments
- Prior technical support or helpdesk experience would be an advantage but is not essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple support and development tasks effectively and explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical business colleagues
