About the role
We are recruiting for a well-established NetSuite solution provider in Boston who is expanding their technical delivery team to support a growing pipeline of implementations and enhancement projects. As a NetSuite Technical Consultant / Developer, you will work across the full implementation lifecycle, delivering customisations, integrations and technical architecture for clients in sectors including manufacturing, distribution, professional services and software. You will partner with functional consultants to translate requirements into working solutions, build integrations with Celigo and other middleware platforms, and own the technical build from design through to deployment and handover.
This is a client-facing role suited to someone who combines strong SuiteScript development skills with the ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders. You will have exposure to a varied project portfolio, the support of an experienced team, and the opportunity to develop expertise across the full NetSuite platform. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical implementations of NetSuite across financials, CRM, inventory, order management and industry-specific modules, working to project timelines and client expectations
- Develop customisations using SuiteScript 2.0 (User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce and Restlet scripts), SuiteFlow workflows, custom records, forms and fields to meet client business requirements
- Design, build and maintain integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems using Celigo, SuiteTalk, REST APIs and flat file imports, ensuring reliable error handling and monitoring
- Create advanced saved searches, reports, dashboards and custom HTML/PDF templates to support client reporting and operational needs
- Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients to understand integration points, data migration requirements and customisation scope, and document these in clear technical design specifications
- Support user acceptance testing, troubleshoot technical issues during and after go-live, and provide knowledge transfer to client administrators and internal support teams
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on NetSuite development experience (minimum 2 years) with demonstrable expertise in SuiteScript 2.0 across multiple script types, ideally gained in a consulting or partner environment
- Practical experience designing and building integrations using Celigo, SuiteTalk or similar middleware, with an understanding of REST and SOAP protocols
- A solid understanding of core NetSuite modules such as financials, CRM, inventory and order management, and how technical solutions support underlying business processes
- SuiteCloud Developer certification would be an advantage but is not essential; candidates with a commitment to achieving this within six months will be supported
- Someone who combines technical capability with strong communication skills: able to explain design decisions, manage client expectations and work collaboratively with functional and project teams
- Candidates who are comfortable working on multiple projects concurrently, managing their own workload and adapting to changing client priorities will stand out
