About the role
We're working with a well-established Sage Intacct partner in Reading who are expanding their delivery team to support a strong pipeline of cloud finance implementations across the Thames Valley and wider UK. As a Sage Intacct Project Manager, you'll take ownership of multiple client projects from kickoff through to go-live, coordinating consultants, managing timelines and budgets, and acting as the main point of contact for clients undergoing finance transformation.
This is an opportunity to work on mid-market implementations across varied sectors, building strong client relationships while shaping how projects are delivered within a growing team. If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact, apply today.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of Sage Intacct implementation projects, ensuring scope, timeline and budget are controlled and risks are escalated early
- Act as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle, managing expectations and maintaining trusted relationships with finance leaders and stakeholders
- Coordinate internal consultants and third-party resources, ensuring workstreams stay aligned and deliverables meet quality standards
- Deliver project governance including status reporting, change control, issue and risk management, and steering committee preparation
- Support pre-sales activities by contributing to project scoping, timeline estimation and resource planning for new opportunities
- Ensure smooth handover to support teams post-implementation, including documentation, lessons learned and knowledge transfer
What We're Looking For
- Commercial experience managing software implementation projects, ideally within Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Dynamics 365 Business Central or another cloud finance platform
- Strong understanding of finance processes and the typical project lifecycle for ERP or financial systems (experience with General Ledger, AP/AR, multi-entity consolidation or reporting modules would be an advantage but is not essential)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage expectations, resolve conflicts and keep projects on track
- A calm, methodical approach to problem solving: someone who can provide stability and inspire confidence when timelines shift or issues arise
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (Prince2, Agile or PMP certification would be a plus rather than essential)
- A consultative mindset and the ability to balance client satisfaction with commercial delivery
What's On Offer
- £45,000 – £60,000 depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits
- Hybrid working with flexibility to balance home and office-based work in Reading
- Structured support towards Sage Intacct and project management certifications
- Opportunity to work with a diverse client base across multiple industries and project types
- A clear path to develop into senior project or programme management roles
