About the role
We are recruiting for an established SAP Business One partner based in Leeds who is looking for a Functional Consultant to join their delivery team. You'll work on end-to-end implementations for clients across manufacturing, distribution and professional services, configuring core modules including financials, sales, purchasing, inventory and production, and supporting the full project lifecycle from requirements through to go-live and beyond.
This is a varied role that suits someone who enjoys client contact, problem solving and building long-term relationships. You'll have the backing of an experienced team, exposure to a wide range of sectors, and the chance to develop your skills across both SQL and HANA editions of the platform. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver SAP Business One implementations, working with clients to gather requirements, configure modules and conduct user acceptance testing
- Provide functional expertise across core B1 processes including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, sales and purchasing cycles, inventory management and basic production
- Train end users and produce documentation that supports adoption and ongoing use of the system
- Support clients post-go-live, troubleshooting issues, recommending improvements and handling change requests
- Build and maintain reports using Crystal Reports and HANA queries to meet client reporting needs
- Act as the main point of contact for clients during projects, managing expectations and maintaining clear communication throughout
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business One implementations, ideally having worked through at least two full project cycles in a consultant or analyst capacity
- Strong understanding of core business processes in at least two of the following areas: financials, sales, purchasing, inventory or production
- Exposure to Crystal Reports or similar reporting tools, or the ability to pick this up quickly
- Experience with add-ons such as Boyum, BPA or similar extensions would be an advantage but is not essential
- Someone who combines technical capability with strong communication skills and a calm, methodical approach to project delivery
- Candidates who are comfortable working independently at client sites, building trust and managing their own workload will stand out

- A salary of £45,000 – £60,000 depending on experience, plus performance-related bonus and benefits
