SAP Business One Systems Administrator, Growing business
Woodland, CA | On-site (5 days/week) | $60,000 – $85,000 + Benefits
Henley Morgan is recruiting on behalf of a well-established distribution business in the forestry and outdoor equipment sector, based in Woodland, CA. They're looking for a hands-on SAP Business One specialist to take ownership of their ERP environment and provide backup IT support across the wider team.
The Role:
This is a standalone position reporting directly to a senior leader — you'll effectively run your own systems department, with real scope to shape how SAP B1 is administered and supported. Alongside SAP B1, you'll manage integrations with the company's eCommerce platforms and act as a cross-trained backup for general IT/help-desk needs.
What You'll Be Doing:
Administering and configuring SAP Business One across all core modules Writing and maintaining custom queries, reports, and dashboards Managing user accounts, roles, permissions, and system integrity Overseeing integrations between SAP B1 and eCommerce platforms (BigCommerce/Magento) Troubleshooting sync issues, data discrepancies, and system errors Providing backup IT support — help-desk tickets, device setup, onboarding/offboarding, and infrastructure basics Documenting processes, workflows, and system configurations
What They're Looking For:
Minimum 2 years' hands-on SAP Business One administration experience Confident writing queries and building reports Experience with eCommerce platform administration (BigCommerce/Magento) is a strong plus Comfortable with SQL and general IT infrastructure basics A versatile, team-oriented person who's happy to step outside their core remit when needed Someone who takes real ownership of their domain and communicates clearly with non-technical colleagues
