About the role

We are recruiting for an established Acumatica partner in Glasgow who is looking for a Technical Consultant / Developer to join their delivery team. You'll be responsible for building customisations, integrations and technical extensions that enable clients to get the most from Acumatica Cloud ERP, working across sectors including distribution, manufacturing and professional services.

This is a role that suits someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, writing clean code and working closely with functional consultants to turn requirements into working solutions. You'll gain exposure to the full Acumatica platform and contribute to implementations from build through to go-live. If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact, apply today.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop customisations, workflow extensions and business logic within Acumatica using C#, SQL and the Acumatica framework
  • Build integrations between Acumatica and third-party systems including CRM, eCommerce platforms, warehouse management and payment gateways
  • Support data migration activities, preparing scripts and validating data quality during client implementations
  • Deliver technical elements of projects, working alongside functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues escalated from support or AMS teams, providing clear root-cause analysis and resolution
  • Contribute to internal standards, code reviews and knowledge sharing as the technical practice grows

What We're Looking For

  • Hands-on experience with C# and SQL, ideally applied within an ERP or business application environment
  • Exposure to Acumatica development would be a strong advantage, or demonstrable experience with a comparable cloud ERP platform such as NetSuite, Business Central or Sage Intacct
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, web services and integration patterns, plus the ability to work with tools such as Visual Studio and source control
  • A calm, methodical approach to development: someone who writes maintainable code, documents their work and tests thoroughly
  • Understanding of core ERP processes across financials, inventory or order management, or the ability to pick this up quickly
  • Candidates who combine technical skill with good communication and a collaborative working style will stand out

What's On Offer

  • A competitive salary of £45,000 – £65,000 depending on experience, plus performance bonus and benefits
  • Hybrid working with flexibility to work from home and the Glasgow office
  • Structured support towards Acumatica certification and ongoing technical training
  • Exposure to a varied project portfolio and the opportunity to develop into senior technical or solution architect roles
