Odoo Support / AMS Analyst

📍 Bristol (hybrid)

💷 £40,000 - £52,000

Posted 27 July 2026

About the Role

A growing Odoo Application Management Services (AMS) practice is seeking a Support / AMS Analyst to serve as the trusted first point of contact for a portfolio of live Odoo customers. The position blends structured incident management with hands-on functional problem solving, focusing on understanding business processes and optimising their performance rather than working in isolation. As the AMS team expands alongside continued UK demand for Odoo through 2026, this represents a genuine opportunity to build a long-term support career on a modern, fast-moving ERP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and triage incoming tickets across the full Odoo suite - Accounting, Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory and Manufacturing
  • Diagnose issues and resolve them within agreed SLAs while keeping customers clearly informed
  • Reproduce problems requiring development work, document thoroughly, and escalate to technical colleagues
  • Track recurring themes, suggest configuration improvements, and help customers maximise platform value

What We're Looking For

  • Hands-on experience supporting or configuring Odoo or a comparable ERP in a customer-facing role
  • Solid understanding of how business processes map onto core modules
  • Confidence configuring two or more modules (Accounting and Inventory especially valued)
  • Ability to read basic Python and XML to understand customisation behaviour
  • Exposure to Odoo Studio, basic SQL, or prior AMS/service-desk background
  • Strong communication skills and a methodical troubleshooting approach
  • Self-discipline to manage a busy queue calmly

What's On Offer

  • Competitive salary with bonus and rounded benefits package
  • Genuine hybrid flexibility around a Bristol base
  • Structured progression as the AMS practice grows
  • Work with an experienced, supportive team across diverse customers and industries
  • Real scope to deepen Odoo expertise and advance into senior functional or technical roles
