About the role
We are recruiting for a well-established SAP Business One consultancy known for building long-term customer relationships and delivering high-quality solutions. They're looking for an experienced SAP Business One Functional Consultant to join their close-knit team, working on end-to-end implementations and enhancements for clients across a range of industries. You'll be responsible for delivering full life cycle projects, leading requirements workshops, configuring modules, and providing ongoing support and development work on existing SAP B1 systems. This is a client-facing role where you'll combine functional expertise with technical skills in SQL and Crystal Reports to deliver complete solutions that meet business needs.
You'll work remotely with the flexibility to manage your own schedule, travelling to customer sites when required. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end SAP Business One implementation projects from requirements gathering and business analysis through to configuration, testing, go-live and post-implementation support
- Work closely with customers to understand business requirements, identify gaps, and translate these into effective system configurations and process improvements across core SAP B1 modules
- Manage scope changes and support overall project delivery, contributing to project planning, documentation and testing activities
- Develop and maintain SQL and HANA SQL queries, stored procedures, and Crystal Reports to support business reporting and integration requirements
- Support and enhance existing SAP Business One systems including add-ons, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues alongside customers and colleagues
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities for further system enhancements and optimisations
What We're Looking For
- Strong SAP Business One consulting experience with at least 5 full implementations or 5+ years in a functional consultant role, ideally in a partner or consultancy environment
- SAP Business One Certification
- Excellent knowledge of SAP Business One core modules and add-ons, with the ability to configure the system to meet diverse business requirements
- Strong SQL and SAP HANA SQL skills, with hands-on experience developing queries, stored procedures and supporting technical integrations
- Experience with Crystal Reports for developing and maintaining business reports
- Experience with B1 Usability Package (B1UP) and Codeless Platforms BPA would be an advantage but is not essential
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance functional requirements with technical delivery and manage customer expectations effectively
- Someone who is collaborative, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a close-knit team environment
