About the role
We are recruiting for a product-based end user in California looking for an SAP Business One Systems Administrator to own the configuration, integrity, and performance of their SAP B1 system alongside BigCommerce and Magento platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring every system operates cleanly, integrates reliably, and supports the teams that depend on them. You'll administer SAP Business One across all modules, manage eCommerce integrations, troubleshoot sync and data issues, and serve as cross-trained backup for core IT infrastructure and help-desk functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain SAP Business One across all modules including inventory, purchasing, sales, financials, and CRM, managing user accounts, roles, permissions, system settings, and multi-entity configuration
- Manage BigCommerce and Magento platforms including product data, catalog structure, and configuration, and monitor integrations between SAP B1 and eCommerce platforms
- Own integrations between SAP B1, BigCommerce, Magento, and third-party tools, troubleshooting sync issues, order flow errors, inventory discrepancies, and integration failures before they impact operations
- Build and maintain custom queries, reports, and dashboards in SAP B1, and support general reporting functions within SAP B1 and MicroStrategy
- Serve as backup help-desk support covering tickets, device setup, user onboarding/offboarding, and assist with network, server, and infrastructure projects to provide cross-trained redundancy
- Partner with operations, finance, and sales to identify gaps and inefficiencies in current system workflows, train users on SAP B1 functionality, and maintain documentation of system configurations, workflows, and integration logic
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP Business One administration experience (version 9.x or higher preferred) with proficiency across core modules and experience with SAP B1 queries, formatted searches, and Crystal Reports
- Strong understanding of ERP-to-eCommerce integration workflows and the ability to troubleshoot product sync, order flow, and inventory issues across platforms
- Familiarity with SQL or SAP B1 query tools for reporting and data extraction, plus understanding of REST APIs and how integrations are structured and maintained
- A methodical, detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting with the ability to document as you go and manage multiple systems and priorities without losing accuracy
- Experience with SAP B1 Service Layer or DI API for integrations, and SAP Business One certification would be an advantage but is not essential
