About the role
We are recruiting for a well-established SAP Business One partner in Ireland looking for a Consultant to join them on a contract basis. You'll work on client implementations, system configurations and functional enhancements across a varied client base, delivering end-to-end solutions that help businesses get the most out of their SAP B1 investment. This is a hands-on role where you'll gather requirements, configure modules, support data migration and provide training to users across different industries.
You'll be working with an experienced team of consultants and technical specialists, with the autonomy to manage your own projects and deliver real value to clients. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver SAP Business One implementations and upgrades, working with clients to gather requirements, configure modules and ensure a smooth go-live
- Configure core SAP B1 modules including financials, sales, purchasing, inventory, production and distribution to meet client business processes
- Support data migration activities, ensuring accurate transfer of master data and transactional information from legacy systems
- Provide user training and documentation, building client confidence and ensuring adoption of the system
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project delivery, managing expectations and maintaining clear communication throughout
- Support post-go-live stabilisation and enhancement requests, troubleshooting issues and optimising system performance
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering SAP Business One implementations or working as an SAP B1 consultant, ideally in a partner environment
- Strong functional knowledge of core SAP Business One modules such as financials, sales, purchasing, inventory or production
- The ability to gather requirements, translate business needs into system configuration, and guide clients through change
- Experience with data migration, system testing and user training would be an advantage but is not essential
- Someone with a confident, client-facing manner who can build trust and manage stakeholder expectations effectively
- A flexible, pragmatic approach with the ability to work independently and adapt to different client environments
