About the role
We are recruiting for an established SAP Business One partner looking for a Support Consultant to join their team on a home-based basis. You'll provide day-to-day technical and functional support to an existing client base, troubleshooting issues across core modules, resolving SQL and database queries, and maintaining Crystal Reports to keep users up and running. This is a varied role where you'll build strong client relationships, solve problems quickly, and become a trusted advisor to businesses relying on SAP B1 every day.
You'll be working remotely with the flexibility to manage your own schedule, supported by an experienced team and clear escalation routes when needed. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line support to SAP Business One users, diagnosing and resolving technical and functional issues across financials, sales, purchasing, inventory and production modules
- Troubleshoot and resolve SQL-related issues, including database queries, performance concerns and data integrity checks
- Build, modify and maintain Crystal Reports to meet evolving client reporting requirements
- Log, track and manage support tickets through to resolution, ensuring clear communication and timely updates to clients
- Support clients with configuration changes, user training and guidance on best practice use of the system
- Act as a key point of contact for your allocated clients, building trust and maintaining long-term working relationships
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience supporting SAP Business One users, ideally in a partner or managed service environment
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, including writing and troubleshooting queries within the SAP B1 database
- Practical experience building and modifying Crystal Reports for SAP Business One
- A solid understanding of core SAP B1 modules such as financials, sales, purchasing or inventory
- Someone with a calm, methodical approach who can prioritise competing demands and communicate clearly with non-technical users
- Experience with HANA or add-ons such as Boyum or Starship would be an advantage but is not essential
