About the role
We're working with an established, family-owned manufacturer in Pennsylvania that needs an ERP Business Analyst to take ownership of its SAP Business One system. You'll work with colleagues at every level, from the factory floor to senior leadership. You'll be the in-house expert who sits with users, understands the problem and turns it into a practical solution in SAP. You'll also be the first port of call for wider IT queries.
There is a backlog of reporting, efficiency and factory-process improvements waiting for the right person. You'll become a trusted business partner, learn how manufacturing really works and contribute far beyond writing reports. Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with users to understand their challenges and turn them into practical SAP Business One solutions
- Create and maintain reports and analytics using SQL, Crystal Reports and SAP HANA, including ad-hoc data requests
- Support end users with day-to-day ERP operations, responding quickly to issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Identify gaps and inconsistencies in current processes, recommending improvements and agreeing action plans with colleagues
- Test report and system changes, upgrades and patches, and document standard operating procedures and user guides
- Deliver training and act as the first point of contact for wider IT issues, bringing in infrastructure or group IT support where needed
What We're Looking For
- Around 3–5 years of ERP experience in a support, analyst or similar customer-facing role
- Strong SQL and report-writing skills, including Crystal Reports or similar BI tools
- SAP Business One and HANA experience would be an advantage but is not essential – experience of another ERP system will be considered, with cross-training available
- An approachable, credible manner and the ability to explain technical points clearly to colleagues from the factory floor to leadership
- A motivated self-starter who is happy to be the go-to person, seeks out new work and is keen to keep learning
- Willingness to complete pre-employment checks, including a background check, drug screening and references
