About the role
We are recruiting for a well-established SAP Business One partner in Ireland looking for a Senior Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis. You'll take ownership of client implementations and enhancement projects from end to end, working independently to deliver SAP B1 solutions whilst collaborating with a supportive team of consultants and technical specialists. This is a home-based role where you'll manage your own project portfolio, configure complex modules, lead requirements workshops, and act as a trusted advisor to clients across different industries.
You'll have the autonomy to shape how projects are delivered whilst being part of a collaborative team environment with access to senior expertise when needed. Key Responsibilities
- Manage SAP Business One implementation and upgrade projects independently, from initial scoping and requirements gathering through to go-live and post-implementation support
- Configure advanced SAP B1 modules including financials, sales, purchasing, inventory, production and distribution to meet complex client business processes
- Lead client workshops and discovery sessions, translating business requirements into effective system design and guiding stakeholders through change management
- Support and mentor junior consultants, sharing knowledge and best practice approaches to build team capability
- Act as the primary point of contact for key client accounts, managing expectations, maintaining strong relationships and identifying opportunities for further enhancements
- Collaborate with technical specialists on integrations, customisations and reporting solutions, ensuring seamless delivery of end-to-end SAP B1 projects
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience delivering SAP Business One implementations as a consultant, ideally in a partner or consultancy environment
- Strong functional expertise across multiple SAP Business One modules including financials, sales, purchasing, inventory and ideally production or distribution
- Proven ability to manage your own projects independently, with confident client-facing skills and the ability to build trust and manage stakeholder expectations at senior levels
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members would be an advantage but is not essential
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance client needs, technical constraints and project timelines effectively
- Someone who thrives working autonomously but values collaboration and knowledge-sharing within a team environment
